5 ways some bloggers do not appreciate readers who have differing views

An interesting growing trend I am seeing online is that of bloggers treating readers, who have different views, with anything but appreciation or respect. Many bloggers, instead of dealing with people having different views with respect, do their best to actually hurt the readers who seem to disagree or have different views about something, like the blogging niche that a blogger may be engaged in.

Following are 5 ways some bloggers do not appreciate the readers who may have different views.

5 ways bloggers do not appreciate readers who have differing views

  1. Interact publicly and privately only with readers that have the same views as the blogger
  2. Criticize readers who have different views about random things openly
  3. Communicate nicely with people who agree with you, and act rude publicly to those who don’t
  4. Misrepresent such readers badly on other sites, like insulting them and not telling others the whole story
  5. Cut off current ties, promises or any direct or indirect, obligatory or voluntary, deals with the readers who are not interested in your blogging niche

The above is a very brief list of how some bloggers do not appreciate some readers on purpose, because those readers can think differently or because the readers do not agree to something that the blogger in question is doing. Many times bloggers are guilty of something, like manipulating their readers, and thus they do a lot of work to ensure the reader feels so uncomfortable, that the reader never comes around the blogger’s blog again.

Do you have any opinion about this? Have you noticed anything similar? Thank you for reading. :)
